Indigo Morning

"Indigo Morning". The Indigo Bunting's migratory range, similar to many Canadians, is from Florida to southern Canada. What I didn't know about these beautifully bright blue birds, that I learned recently, is that they are part of the Cardinal family. We've been fortunate to see the Indigo Bunting visit our backyard on a couple of occasions over the past few years, but their visits are far too infrequent and very brief. I was happy though to have some good reference material to work with for this commissioned piece for my good friend Mary Guthrie.

Title: Indigo Morning
Details: 12"x9" Acrylic on Canvas
