King's Landing - 16"x12" Original Framed

The King Fisher is a shy bird. Often spotted along the shorelines of rivers and lakes in our area, I find that just as you get up close enough to take a picture of them, they take off another 300 meters down the shore and find another perch. What I admire about these birds though is their excellent fishing skills, watching them as they dive into the water, completely submerged, and then pop right back out with a fish in their mouth.
