Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse - Sold -

A little diversion from my usual subjects, but I still managed to squeeze a tern flying in from the sea :) This is a classic and often viewed perspective of Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse on the coast of Maine. What I liked about the scene though was that it was early morning and the whole area was shrouded in fog. The atmosphere was surreal as the fog lifted and the lighthouse emerged, standing proud on the granite cliff.
